I've been using Zoom for over 5 years for business meetings and coaching my clients all over the world. However, I have only recently been forced to use Zoom for online lessons. Because my school focuses on teaching young children (as young as 3 and 4 years of age) I just didn't think it would work. Also, there's a sensitivity among parents in my community to exposing young children to excessive screen time.
All that changed overnight when schools shut in New York City and we were all forced into this brave new world.
This video is an overview of how to best approach using Zoom for music lessons. I discuss how to share your screen and also how to setup multiple camera angles.
